The grounds provide a good area for picnics and walks. The shoreline in this area also has great sealife which can often be observed from the beach. Minke whales, dolphins, basking shark and of course otters as well as a wide variety of sea birds.

There is a beach picic area across the quiet single track road from the village shop where Teas and coffees can be taken as well as other items from the shop.

Skipness offers a quiet and relaxing day out with interesting things to do and see before heading back to Tarbert Loch Fyne.
